Hello, my name is Sjoeke de Vries and currently I'm a second year game design student at Hanzehogeschool, Groningen, Netherlands. I already made some games which you can check out at the "My Work" page. 

The reason I want to be a game designer, is because I like coming up with stories and creating different worlds. Besides that, I like to go crazy and often come up with the weirdest ideas.

Games that I would like to make are storytelling games, where the player has to make decisions that change the outcome of the game. I have a broad knowledge of pretty much anything, and I like to implement this into my designs. 

I like developing games, because I like problem solving. The feeling of finally having the code working, is great. Whenever I run into a problem, I enjoy brainstorming with fellow developers, and together figure it out. I also like doing this by myself, then the feeling of finishing the code, is even better.
