Lost in a Dream
Lost in a Dream, is the first digital game I helped create. For this game, I did most of the Game Design, and I did a little bit of Developing as well.
On this page you'll find a playthrough video, and an explanation of how and why the game was made.

Lost in a Dream, is a game made by 5 people for a school project. The assignment was to make a game that teaches the Dutch gaming community about other cultures.

In Lost in a Dream, the protagonist falls asleep in a library. He dreams about being stuck in a dungeon, and he has to escape the dream. While trying to escape, the player has to collect cards with facts about the Japanese culture written on it. Some doors are locked with questions about this culture, and the player can open them by answering correctly. When the player comes to the boss door he has to answer one last question, and then he has to defeat the boss, in order to escape the dream.

For this game, I did the research on the Japanese culture. I also programmed the part of the game where the player has to collect the key for the boss room.
